🎈 Welcome to Northwest Little League Opening Day! 🎈
Get ready, Northwest Little League families! Our Opening Day is set to be a homerun of community spirit, fun, and baseball/softball on April 7th, 2024. We've got a lineup that's sure to knock it out of the park, so here's the play-by-play:
🌟 Meeting Point: Players, join your teams at James Buchanan Elementary School at 1:30pm.
☕ Bake Sale Warm-Up: Jumpstart the day with treats and hot beverages at our bake sale. All proceeds will be a grand slam towards continuing to improve our Complex, making every bite count!
🚒 Parade of Champions: At 10am, led by a local fire truck, our players will parade down Kaywin Avenue, showing off their team spirit all the way to the Complex. Don't forget your signs and balloons to cheer them on—it's all about team spirit!
🍿🎁 Snack Stand & Raffle Extravaganza: Our snack stand will be your go-to spot for tasty refreshments. Plus, dive into our basket raffle with themes including Italian cuisine, summer fun, movie night, baseball accessories, and more. At just $1 a ticket, $5 for 6, or $10 for 15, you're in for a chance to score some fantastic prizes. Remember to submit your fundraiser tickets before Opening Day (check with your coach for the playbook on this one if you have any questions).
🏆 Champion Salute: Take a moment with us to tip our caps to our 10U Girls Softball District 20 Champions and our 8U Boys Baseball Fall Champions. These teams have shown exceptional spirit and skill, and we're so proud to call them ours.
👬👭 Big Brothers Big Sisters Info Booth: Explore the impactful world of mentorship with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lehigh Valley. They'll be on-site with all the info you need on how to join or support their amazing programs, enriching lives across our community.
📡 Live Stream Magic: For the first time ever, we're bringing the Opening Day magic to you, live! Friends and family near and far won't have to miss a pitch or a cheer, thanks to our streaming of the event.
